A Personal Welcome from Anne

French soul, Italian style, in the heart of Verona.

I’m Anne Bernard. I’m French, and Verona has been my home since 1992, the year I fell in love with Italy twice: first with the city, then with my husband. I knew from a young age that hospitality was my calling, and I trained at the Vatel Institute in Lyon, a renowned school of hospitality management.

Today I personally look after both apartments, Santo Stefano and Madonna del Terraglio, and every guest who stays with us. They reflect my French soul and my love for timeless Italian style: elegant yet welcoming, thoughtfully designed to make you feel at home, with my attentive and discreet care throughout your stay.

I’m happy to be your point of reference during your stay. In the apartment you’ll find a guidebook I wrote myself, full of my favourite local addresses: bars, restaurants, osterias and much more.
